Postage Changes

As this year has brought about some pretty dramatic postage changes with fees and methods on how we are able to ship, I have had to really consider how to best serve my customers. The current best methods for shipping and some of the only ones available to me now are as follows:

International shipping: All international packages now include tracking. We are no longer allowed to ship non tracked flats. The base rate up to 8oz (which is quite a bit of stuff) is 14$. Because of this change I am changing my packaging for international parcels to be small boxes to best protect the items inside and hopefully from chances of loss.

US shipping: I will now be sending all parcels via priority mail to help cover against loss and or damage. They will be shipped in a small box and will include insurance.  IF your parcel goes missing please do not hesitate to let me know so I may issues a refund and make an insurance claim. Priority mail will cost 7$ (this is fairly close to what flats plus insurance cost so I felt it was the best option to make as the box creates a more secure method of shipping for just a few pennies more.) Since packaging on this is free I am eating a small amount on the actual cost of shipping because it is a more expensive change/options for my clients.

I feel like this is the best approach to take as we consider what the current situation is in regards to postage methods and options. I’m sorry for the rate increases. Alas.

As ever, thank you so much for your support all these years. It means the world to me!
